Fox’s upcoming baseball series Pitch is adding to its cast lineup.

The fall drama has enlisted JoAnna Garcia Swisher for a recurring role, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

Pitch — produced in partnership with Major League Baseball — centers on Ginny Baker, a young female pitcher (Kylie Bunbury, Under the Dome) who defies the odds when she becomes the first woman to play in the major leagues.

Garcia Swisher’s casting comes as her career is beginning to intersect with her personal life as the actress is married to former New York Yankee slugger Nick Swisher. Her recent credits include Once Upon a Time, Grandfathered and The Astronaut Wives. She iss repped by WME and John Carrabino Management.

Also confirmed to return to the baseball series from Dan Fogelman, Kevin Falls and Rick Singer are Bob Balaban, who appeared in the pilot and will recur as Frank Reid, the owner of the Padres; Chastity Dotson as Janet Baker, Ginny’s mother; Ryan Dorsey as Tommy Miller, the pitcher Ginny replaced on the team’s roster and her antagonist; Jack McGee as Buck, the team’s pitching coach; and Michael Beach as Bill Baker, Ginny’s father.

Pitch is set to premiere Thursday, Sept. 22, at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Fox. Watch the trailer, below.
